
Cyborg Zombie Hunt

This is an older incomplete project that we are updating and continuing to build.
The game is played using the W,A,S,D keys, and the mouse to aim and fire. Left mouse button to fire, right mouse button to reload or use items. Shift can be used to run but prevents reloading and firing. Numbers 1, 2, and 3 can be used to select weapons. TAB will open the inventory box and ESC will take you back to the main menu.
Version 0.5 (current) uploaded on the fifth day, most of todays changes were to the user interface; replaced the health bar, added animations for mouse overs, added indications when items collected, and general bug fixes for some of the animations and playability issues.
Version 0.4 uploaded on the fourth day, additional graphics and animations, including a factory conveyor belt, churning silos, ceiling fans, and console. Pipes, pallets, lava, and factory walkway sprites added. Bug fixes involved fixing the activation key rotation, messages are now scrolled rather than a popup, and frame rate dropping caused zombies to not attack fixed.
Version 0.3 uploaded on the third day, additional interior graphics added, including a new house and industrial factory with new sprites such as a conveyor belt, pipes, and control panels. Fixed a bug with bullet spawning, and an issue with the inventory tab opening after the game is over. Added a dresser that opens and may contain an item for the player.
Version 0.2 uploaded on the second day, two issues reported, in a comment by Rqndomly, have hopefully been addressed. Additional interior graphics added, and sparks that occur when bullets hit solid objects are more pronounced.
Version 0.1 is the starting point, with just a test level with some basic functionality and shooting capabilities. The assets are our own creation and are available on Itch:

During the Jam week #71 we are hoping to improve the graphics, art, and sound.
Suggestions and feedback are welcome, and as we add items to this game, the graphics will be added to the TopDown Pack above.

I think you should flip the syrum sprite around lol I thought it was a sword at first game feels smooth though just make it so you cant reload with 0 bullets.
Thank you for the feedback. We will be replacing the syringe as we also noticed it looked odd, so hopefully that will help. We've also changed the logic so the reload will not occur if there are zero bullets or the player is using the flame thrower. Again, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
